This project was undertaken as a part of my postgraduate honours course
in Electronic Engineering, and
was used to encode and decode DTMF tones. By interfacing to a telephone
line I was able to dial outgoing, and detect incoming, phone numbers.
I was awarded the Nokia Telecommunications Electronic Engineering Award for The Best Final Year Thesis in the Faculty of Science and Technology (whew!) for my work with this system.
